4.29.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed Dibble senior Cyrinda Ford to play women's basketball for the 2008-2009 season.

Ford, an 18-year-old senior at Dibble High School, was named to the Big-8 All-Conference team for the Dibble Lady Demons. Ford was a forward for the Lady Demons and will play the same position for the MACU Lady Evangels.

Ford was also selected as the Fox 25 Scholar Athlete of the Week.

"Cyrinda is a very mature and well rounded student-athlete," MACU Women's Basketball Coach Markus Crandall said. "She is an athletic forward that also possesses guard skills. I am excited that she has chosen to play the Lady Evangels next season."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
