4.24.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed University of Central Oklahoma transfer Blanca Casale to play women's basketball for the 2008-2009 season.

Casale, a 21-year-old transfer of the University of Central Oklahoma, was a guard for the UCO Broncho's, and will play the same position for the MACU Lady Evangels.

"We are excited to have Blanca sign with us," MACU Women's Basketball Coach Markus Crandall said. "She is a very intelligent and mature basketball player with two years of collegiate experience. She will bring an outside threat to our team next year."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
