 MACU Men's Soccer Set to Hold Try-out OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Mid-America Christian University Evangel soccer teams is set to hold a try-out for up and coming prospects for the 2008-2009 season, Saturday, April 19. MACU Head Coach Zach Bice handed out team awards in the first annual soccer banquet. "I was excited to recognize the player's accomplishments," Coach Bice said. "The awards do not speak for all the players who contributed this year." The Evangels finished the season 10-8-2 and runner-up honors in the National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region Tournament. MORE [+]  MACU Falls in Regional Championship Game 11/3/07 OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla- The Mid-America Christian University Evangels fell in the Central Region Championship Game to the Central Baptist College Mustangs Saturday, Nov 3. MACU lost to CBC 1-0. "It is disappointing knowing that you worked hard all season and to fall short in the Regional Championship is disappointing," Head Coach Zach Bice said.
