4.7.08 - HUTHINSON, Kan. - The Mid-America Christian University Evangel golf team finished tenth in the Nike Invitational Tournament at Cottonwood Golf Club, Monday, April 7. The Evangels shot a 362.

"This was a tough course, with very tough conditions," MACU Head Coach Markus Crandall said.

Freshman Bryce Lawrence led all MACU golfers with an 85, while Junior Ryan McCabe shot an 86. Freshman Tyler Montgomery contributed an 87, while Sophomore Trevin Estep completed the team total with a 107. Freshman Cody Flynn was a medalist and shot a 93, while Sophomore Andrew Shepherd shot a 104.

MACU will play in the Region VI Tournament at Hillcrest Golf Course in Lubbock, Texas, Monday and Tuesday, April, 21-22.
