Rodney Young and Jeremy Bridges Signing Letter of Intent

5.7.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed Lawton seniors Rodney Young and Jeremy Bridges to play men's basketball for the 2008-2009 season.

Young, a 17-year-old senior at Lawton Eisenhower High School, was named All Southern-Conference for the Lawton Eisenhower Eagles. Young was a guard for the Eagles, and will play the same position for the MACU Evangels.

Bridges, an 18-year-old senior at Lawton Eisenhower High School, was the starting guard for the Lawton Eisenhower Eagles, and will play the same position for the MACU Evangels.

"I am very excited to have Rodney and Jeremy apart of the Evangels next year," MACU Assistant Men's Basketball Coach Charles Goar said. "They are very talented players and display good character. They are the type of players a coach looks for on and off the court."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
