5.7.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed Northeast Academy graduate Samuel Webber to play men's basketball in the 2008-2009 season.

Webber, a 25-year-old graduate of Northeast Academy High School, was a forward/guard for the Northeast Academy Vikings, and will play the same position for the MACU Evangels.

"We are very excited to have Samuel on board," MACU Assistant Men's Basketball Coach Charles Goar said. "He is a good athlete that had a good high school career."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
