4.24.08 - OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City recently signed Edison graduate Cameron Langster to play men's basketball in the 2008-2009 season.

Langster, a 21-year-old graduate of Edison High School, was an all-conference guard for the Edison Eagles and will play the same position for the MACU Evangels.

Langster, of Tulsa, was named to the Jim Thorpe All-Star team in 2005.

"I am excited about having a player of Cameron's ability to join our program," MACU Head Men's Basketball Coach Willie Holley said. "He will bring energy on defense and scoring potential to the offensive end."

MACU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Sooner Athletic Conference.
